NOTE:
All the products in the example should be open on the private browser, in order to clear all the previous products in the cart or previous discount test. Remember to close the private browser before testing the new one.
Since on the demo we set up various discount rules to help you test how our module will work, and ONE cart may satisfy DIFFERENT discount rules, therefore we assigned a specific product for each discount rule. Please follow our instructions for each discount rule and only add the assigned products to the shopping cart to test the respective rule. This step is to make sure your test shopping cart will be applied the correct discount rule.
- Example 1: Discount 10% for first order of customer
- Example 2: Discount 15% on customer birthday
- Example 3: Discount 5% when purchasing products on weekend
- Example 4: Purchase more than $50 to get Free ship
- Example 5: Purchase more than $100 to get a "Customizable Mug" as Free gift
- Example 6: Discount 30% for women only on 8/3
- Example 7: Discount 5% when pay by check
- Example 8: Purchase more than $150 then be able to select a gift with a discount price of 50%
- Example 9: Purchase more than 2 quantities of same product, then get 10% on all quantities of that product
- Example 10: Purchase from 2 products then get 20% on all other products on cart
- Example 11: Discount $50 for loyalty customer (Day since signed up > 3 months and purchased more than 3 orders)
- Example 12: Purchase more than 3 product quantities of same product in cart then get 20% discount on the most expensive product

1. Discount 10% for the first order of customer
Open this product below in the private browser, add product to cart, go to checkout page and create new account, after creating a new account, our module detects this is your first order and you will get the discount 10%
2. Discount 15% on customer birthday
Open this product below in the private browser, add product to cart, login with demo account which we provide below
After that, go to My account/information to change birthday to today then go to checkout to see the discount 15% for birthday

3. Discount 5% when purchasing products on the weekend
Note: You can only test this rule if today is Saturday or Sunday
Open this product below in the private browser, add the product to cart, then go to checkout to see the discount 5% for shopping on the weekend
4. Purchase more than $50 to get Free ship
Open this product below in the private browser, add the product to cart, then go to checkout to see the discount = shipping price
5. Purchase more than $100 to get a "Customizable Mug" as Free gift
Open this product below in the private browser, add the product to cart, then go to checkout to see a " Customizable Mug" is added to cart as Free gift with discount = price of the "Customizable Mug"
6. Discount 30% for women only on 8/3
Note: You only can test this rule if today is 8/3 (March 08)

7. Discount 5% when pay by check
Open this product below in the private browser, add the product to cart, then go to checkout, login with customer account below then next to payment method step, select Pay by check, then you will see the discount of 5%

8. Purchase more than $150 then be able to select a gift with a discount price of 50%
Open this product below in the private browser, add the product to cart, you will be able to purchase a list of gift products below the cart with a price of 50% compared to the original price
9. Purchase more than 2 quantities of same product, then get 10% on all quantities of that product
Open this product below in the private browser, add the product to cart, (this example product is set at minimum quantiy = 5, so when added to cart, the quantity in your cart is 5), then go to checkout
=> Discount amount = (10% of product price) x quantity = (10% *$29)*5 = $14.5
10. Purchase from 2 products then get 20% on all other products on the cart (Start counting quantity from the cheapest product in the cart)
Open these products below in the private browser, add all of them to the cart (each product add 1 quantity)
Start counting quantity from the cheapest product in the cart, that means "Brown bear - Vector graphics" x quantity 1 + "Mountain fox notebook" x quantity 1 = 2 ==> match the condition (purchase >=2 different products in cart)
==> Get Discount = (20% x other products in cart) = 20% * $19 + 20% * $27.12 = $9.22
11. Discount $50 for loyalty customer (Day since signed up > 3 months and purchased more than 3 orders)
Open this product below in the private browser, add the product to cart, go to checkout and login with loyalty customer account below (This loyalty account is registered at 04/16/2021 and already purchased more than 3 orders in the past), then you will see a discount $50 is added to cart

12. Purchase more than 3 product quantities of same product in the cart then get 20% discount on the most expensive product
Open these products below in the private browser, add all of them to cart, then go to checkout
"Hummingbird cushion" is set minimum quantity = 4 when add product to cart ==> match the condition (purchase more than 3 product quantities)
=> Discount amount = (20% of most expensive product in cart) x quantity = (20%*$29)*1 = $5.8
